Advertisement: Vodafone New Zealand Ltd
Complaint: The website advertisement on the Vodafone website contained information about their BlackBerry Internet Service outlining what was included and the costs of the 100MB, 200MB and 1GB Bundles.
Complainant, L. Jensen, was of the view that the advertisement was misleading as it was not clear that the 100MB bundle only covers email and not web browsing.
The relevant provision was Rule 2 of the Code of Ethics.
The Secretary advised the Chairman that following contact with the both the Advertiser and the Complainant to clarify the matter, the Complainant advised that that there was no need for the complaint proceed.
The Chairman noted the above and ruled that the complaint be withdrawn.
